Welding process requirements for mig welding manipulator
The welding robot can move the welding torch along the weld seam
with high precision and ensure the attitude of the welding torch;
continuously coordinate the welding process parameters (such as
welding current, voltage, speed, gas flow rate, electrode height
and wire feeding speed) during the movement.
The welding robot is a comprehensive system that can achieve the
best process motion and parameter control of welding. It is much
more complicated than a general - purpose robot.
MIg welding manipulator automated welding production types
The type of automated welding production that the factory chooses
must be based on the actual conditions and merits of the plant. The
welding special machine is suitable for large - volume, slow -
changing products, and the number of welds of the workpiece is
small and long, and the shape is regular (straight and round); the
welding robot system is generally suitable for medium and small
batch production, and the workpiece is welded. Welds can be short
and many, and the shape is more complicated.
The welding robot production line is relatively simple to connect
multiple workstations (units) with workpiece conveyor lines to form
a production line. This line still maintains the characteristics of
a single station, that is, each station can only use the selected
workpiece fixture and welding robot program to weld the
predetermined workpiece. This line cannot be welded for a period of
time before the fixture and program are changed other artifacts.
