Threaded Rod End Compression And Traction Load Cell FLH is made of 17-4 stainless steel based on strain gauge
technology intended for both traction and compression force
measurement. Inline type pull push load cells are designed to be
mounted inline to the load axis with rugged structure for industrial applications.The Rod End Load Cell FLH can be easily mounted to existing
system through M12 threaded rods located on both sides of the
transducer, these metric threads can also be used to mount
attachments, such as female eye bolt,bolt adapter,etc.,to fit
different usage requirements. Tension Compression Sensor FLH offers
0-10kN / 0-20kN two rated measuring ranges, each sensor
is integrated with a 3-meter-long 4-core shielded cable,the cable
comes with a free end which makes it easy to assemble any types of
connectors for electrical connection. Compression Traction Force
Transducer FLH is normally used for press-in force measurement,
cylinder thrust force measurement, auto equipment, Riveting machine
pressure measurement, production line, hand press
machines,etc.
load cell is a transducer that converts load or force acting
on it into electronic signal which is proportional to the applied
force.The acting force causes deformation of the measuring
element,the bonded strain gage deforms accordingly which will cause
the resistance change of the wheatstone bridge,under constant power
supply,the output signal between Sig+ and Sig- will change
proportionally,thus the load/force can be measured by measuring the
output signal from the load cell.Threaded Inline Load Cell FLH is
designed to measure both tension and compression force,outputs
millivolt signal ranging -22.5mV...+22.5mV.

Output signal of load cell and amplifier:
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of M12 Threaded Inline Load Cell FLH is normally
around 1.5mV/V.
Power supply of Rod End Traction Compression Load Cell FLH is
normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of In Line Load Cell FLH is normally within
-22.5mV…+22.5mV for tensile and compressive force measurement.
Example one: Threaded In-line Tension Compression Transducer
FLH-20kN with 1.5mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC, the output
range is -7.5mV...+7.5mV.
Example two: M12 Threaded Rod End Tension/Compression Force
Sensor FLH-10kN with 1.4mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC, the
output range is -14mV...+14mV.
The mV/V output from the wheatstone bridge sometimes can hardly be
processed directly, a signal conditioner can be used with the load
cell to deliver -5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example one: Inline Type Traction Compression Force Sensor
FLH-10kN working with amplifier FSC(-10-10V)-24V, the Load-Voltage
relationship will be 0-10kN compression force VS 0-10V output,
0-10kN traction force VS 0-(-10V), which is linear regardless of
the measurement error, 1V output corresponds to 1kN compressive
load, (-2V) output corresponds to 2kN tensile load, and so on.
Example two: Rod End Traction Compression Load Cell FLH-20kN
working with amplifier FSC(4-12-20mA)-24V, the Force-Current
relationship will be 0-20kN compressive force VS 12-20mA output,
0-20kN traction force VS 12-4Ma, which is linear regardless of the
measurement error, 12mA output corresponds to “0” load, 12.8mA
output corresponds to 2kN compression load, 8mA output corresponds
to 10kN tension load, and so on.
