stainless steel utilizing strain gauge technology to deliver
maximum 0.2% non-linearity of rated output. Micro Force Transducer
FLAE offers 0-10N / 0-20N / 0-50N / 0-100N / 0-200N five rated
measuring ranges to choose from. M3 threaded holes located on two
sides of the transducer can be used to mount attachments or
implements to adapt to different force measurement cases, miniature

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into
mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes
deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms
accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the
wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal
between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the
load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the
transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Miniature Force Transducer FLAE is around
2.0mV/V.
Power supply of Miniature Force Sensor FLAE is normally within
3-12V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Mini Load Cell FLAE is normally within
-24mV...+24mV for tension/compression force measurement.
Example one:Miniature Tension Compression Load Cell FLAE-100N with
2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output range is
-10mV...+10mV.
Example two: Micro Cylindrical Force Sensor FLAE-200N with
2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is
-20mV...+20mV.
A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver
-5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example one: Miniature tension compression load cell FLAE-100N
working with -10-10V amplifier,the Force-Voltage relationship will
be 0-100N compression load VS 0-10V output,0-100N traction load VS
0-(-10V) output, which is linear regardless of the measurement
error. When you get 5V output, it means the current load is 50N
compression force, when you get -1V output, it means the current
load is 10N tensile force,and so on.
Example two: Miniature tension compression load cell FLAE-10N
working with 4-12-20mA amplifier,the Force-Current relationship
will be 0-10N compression force VS 12-20mA output, 0-10N traction
force VS 12-4mA output, which is linear regardless of the
measurement error. Namely 12mA output corresponds to “0” load,
12.8mA output corresponds to 1N compressive load, 8mA output
corresponds to 5N tensile load, and so on.
