25.4mm This infrared dome lens is a 25.4mm hemispherical protection window
engineered for 8-12um LWIR security cameras, where the dome must
pass thermal radiation while shielding the camera from weather,
impact, and contamination. The dome is formed from germanium and
coated on both surfaces with a broadband LWIR anti-reflective
layer, keeping transmission above 94 percent across the thermal
band. For outdoor surveillance, an infrared dome lens is the
difference between a camera that sees clearly at night and one that
loses most of its thermal signal to reflection. The hemispherical geometry provides a wide field of regard for
pan-tilt-zoom cameras while maintaining uniform transmission across
