I. Introduction: (B)

A sand pump bailer is a wireline service tool used to clear debris which has settled on top of the subsurface equipment preventing recovery of the equipment by regular wireline operations.The sand pump bailer is a pump type tool which operates on the conventional lift pump and piston principle.

A double male adapter sub an extension bailer tube are available as optional extras in the event of large volume bailing operations

III.Maintenance:

1. While using, clear the rock sand in time and clean the interior of barrel.

2. When the tool is not used temporarily, paint the top threads with sealing grease and keep it with thread protector, and paint barrel with lubricating oil for rust protection.
