III. Structural features

The sand pump bailer is composed of upper contact, fishing neck, piston rod, barrel, connector (piece 5), lifting rod, piston, pipe shoe, cylindrical pin, steel ball, seal ring, set screw, etc. See the concrete structure in the figure.
When operating it, lift the upper contact and then the piston rod and piston connected with it will move upward. At this moment, the steel ball also will move upward and the rock waste in the well will be sucked up; when lowering the upper contact, the steel ball will fall in the hole of pipe shoe, and the rock waste sucked up will be blocked by the steel ball and kept in the barrel; suck and release it repeatedly until the barrel is filled up with rock waste, and then take out the tool.
