Water Survey Terrameter With 4 Iron Electrodes Survey Method
The so-called electric method is to use the electric field to measure the apparent resistivity of underground rocks. Since the apparent resistivities of rocks are different, a method of drawing the rock interface can be drawn. The electrical resistivity of water is very low, and a method of finding the location of water by using the obvious electrical difference between water and surrounding rock is called electrical method to find water. The most commonly used are the apparent resistivity method and the apparent polarizability method (also known as the excited polarization method). The theoretical basis for finding water by the electric method is to use the electrical difference of rocks. When we use two electrodes on the ground to supply power underground, an electric field is formed between the two electrodes. In this electric field, we use a meter to measure the temperature of a certain point. Point position and current intensity, and find the apparent resistivity of the point. If there is water between the electric fields, then a low resistance value will appear above the water level. It is according to such means that the electric method is used to find water.
