Conductive Cross Arm1. Product OverviewConductive cross arm, also named electrode conductive arm, is the
core key component of electrode lifting system for submerged arc
furnaces, ferroalloy furnaces, industrial silicon furnaces, calcium
carbide furnaces and closed refining furnaces. It integrates two
core functions: electrode mechanical support & large-current
power transmission, connecting water-cooled cables on one end and
electrode clamps on the other end. Traditional separated short-net structure adopts independent
conductive copper tubes plus steel support beams, featuring complex
layout, many insulation parts, high circuit impedance, severe heat
generation and large power loss. Our integrated water-cooled
conductive cross arm adopts copper-steel composite or
aluminum-steel composite hollow box structure with built-in
circulating cooling water channels. It cancels numerous
intermediate conductive and insulating parts, greatly shortens
conductive path, reduces skin effect and impedance loss, stabilizes
arc operation, and significantly cuts smelting power consumption.
It is widely matched with 6,300kVA–63,000kVA full-series
metallurgical electric furnaces, the core upgrade part for
