Washzyme:improve the appearance quality, finish, softness, breathability, and drape of textiles

 

Besthway Washzyme is a highly efficient acid cellulase-based enzyme, developed by Besthway Technology with modern genetic engineering, microbe fermentation and advanced post-process technology. It can effectively degrade cellulose fibers and is suitable for the washing treatment of cotton and linen and other cellulose fiber fabrics and their blended fabrics or garments to achieve the effect of dehairing, polishing, etc. It can improve the appearance quality, finish, softness, breathability, and drape of textiles. This product has no pollution to the equipment, environment, and fabrics, and it works under mild conditions.

Product Functions

  • It could remove fabric surface hair plumes and pellets with permanent anti-pilling and pilling effect;
  • It could maintain the original color of the fabric;
  • It could be used together with pumice stone to enhance the stone washing effect of denim fabrics and garments;
  • It could reduce the weight of the fabric to make the fabric softer and with good drape;
  • It could remove the itchy feeling when wearing  fabrics.

 

Application Scheme

  • Process conditions:

Application temperature: 45-55℃, optimal application temperature 50℃;

Application pH: 4.5-5.5, optimal application pH is 4.8, oxalic acid or glacial acetic acid can be used to adjust the pH of water bath;

Washing time: 15-45 minutes, depending on the desired effect, the longer time, and the better effect;

Dosage: 0.5-1.0% (owf - on fabric weight, the specific dosage depends on the processing requirements, the larger dosage, and the better effect);

Bath ratio: 1:5-1:15.

To achieve satisfactory processing results, it is necessary to determine the best desizing treatment method;

Inactivate the enzyme after washing to avoid over-treatment of the fabric and damage to the garment.

  • Any of the following methods can be used to inactivate the enzyme:
  • Raise the temperature to above 80°C and keep it for 10 minutes;
  • Adjust pH to 8-9, temperature is above 60°C and keep it for 10 minutes;
  • Bleaching treatment.

 

Package and Storage

Solid Product: 25kg/bag Liquid Product: 30L/barrel.

It should be stored under dry, ventilated and protected from light at 25℃, with a shelf life of 18 months for solid product and 12 months for liquid product from the date of production. The shelf life could be extended when refrigerated at 5℃.

 

Note

  • After opening the bag or barrel, it should be tightly tied or the lid tightened to avoid moisture or contamination;
  • Do not inhale. If inhaled, rinse mouth immediately with water for at least 15 minutes;
  • People who are sensitive to enzyme dust should wear one-piece overalls, dust masks and gloves when operating. If contact with skin or eyes occurs, please rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
