Frequently Asked Questions No response after installation. Is the drive defective? First check the power supply and wiring - confirm the input voltage
matches the specifications, the logic power supply (if required) is
connected, and the motor phase wires and encoder cables are not
reversed or loose. If there is still no response after power
cycling, use the debugging software to read the fault code for
troubleshooting. Motor jitters/oscillates during operation. How to fix it? This is mostly caused by parameter or wiring issues. First check if
the encoder cable shield is properly grounded and free of damage;
then reduce the drive's speed loop gain or re-run auto-tuning.
Mechanical jams can also cause jitter, so check the load and
transmission components as well. Why can't I use a new drive of the same model directly? Servo drives are not plug-and-play. The original device parameters
(e.g., motor matching values, speed limits) are stored in the old
drive. Back up the parameters from the old drive with the debugging
software, clone them to the new drive, then test the operation. Is it compatible with third-party PLCs/controllers? It supports common communication protocols like RS232/RS485 and
Modbus, and is compatible with mainstream controllers such as
Siemens S7 series and Omron NX series. Verify the communication
station number and baud rate before connection, and ensure the
wiring is correct (e.g., A+/B- are not reversed). Frequent overcurrent/overvoltage faults. How to handle them? For overcurrent, first check the motor winding insulation (ground
resistance should be >1MΩ) and whether the output cables are
short-circuited. Overvoltage is usually caused by unstable input
voltage or overly short acceleration/deceleration time - you can
connect an external braking resistor or increase the deceleration
time parameter. Can only 2500ppr encoder resolution be used? No. In addition to 2500ppr, it also supports 8192ppr encoders to
meet higher-precision motion control needs. After replacing the
encoder, reconfigure the resolution parameter in the software and
perform origin reset. |
