The Avenue range’s standard maximum height is 12m with a standard maximum outreach of 4.5m (tapered round) and 3m (tapered octagonal), however different heights and outreaches can be designed.

Prodcut Process



MATERIAL

Material used to fabricate the pole components will be in accordance of international standards and as per the project specifications.
Main Material is Q235,Q345,Gr65 or as specified in the customer specification.

FINISHING

Shaft, Base plate, Arm Bracket and other accessories are hot dip galvanized according to BS EN 1461 and its recent revisions, the minimum average coating thickness is according to BS EN 1461, or as per the customer requirements, but not more than 70 microns average.

No welding, cutting or drilling is done after galvanizing.

The anchor bolts including nuts and washers are rough black or hot dip galvanised according to ASTM A 123 as per customized requirement.

Application:

SHAPE

1. Height:The street lighting Poles of heights from 4m up to 20m covering almost all of the outdoor street lighting requirements, are usually made out of tapered steel shafts with octagonal or conical shape, with dimensions complying with the design structural analysis, international standards requirements, and as per customer requirements.

2. Pole Sections: Only poles with heights up to 12 meters are made from one shaft segment. Poles up to 20m in height are made from two segments with minimum overlap length of 1.5 times the diameter of bottom of the upper segment.

3. Shafts: Shafts are made from steel sheet folded to the required shape and welded longitudinally by automatic arc welding machine.

4. Base Plate: Base plate is square in shape with slotted holes suitable for anchor bolts. Base plate is welded to the bottom of the shaft by double fillet weld, according to International standards.

5. Brackets: The brackets to carry the light fittings are in shape and dimensions complying with the customer requirements and the specifications of the light fittings. Shaft top is equipped with nuts welded to the shaft as shown on our drawings.

6. Anchor Bolt: Anchor bolts to fix the base plate to the concrete foundation are supplied with the required nuts and washers as per the structural analysis.

7: Service Door: Door opening size and location is as per the customer requirements and its complying with the dimensions of the cut-out. Door opening is reinforced to maintain shaft strength.

8. Lamp:LED light is available or specified in the customer requirement.
