Compared with TN, it offers better contrast, wider viewing angles, less color shifts and enhanced readability in different lighting conditions.

FSTN LCDs are primarily used for simple monochrome or grayscale displays.

Not suitable for producing full-color or high-resolution images.

Compatible with a wide temperature range.

Typically operate at lower refresh rate and have lower response compared to TFT or IPS.
