transducer FFQ is designed for both traction and compression force
measurement with flange-to-flange configuration. Thrust Load Cell FFQ is suitable for applications such as robot grinding
force monitoring, actuator thrust measurement, assembly force
monitoring, bearing press fit measurement, welding clamping force
control, hand press force verification, injection molding machine
extrusion force measurement and so on. In addition to the standard

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into
mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes
deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms
accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the
wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal
between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the
load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the
transducer.
Output signal of load cell:
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of Flanged Thrust Transducer FFQ is normally around
1.5mV/V.
Power supply of Flange Type Thrust Sensor FFQ is normally
within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of Thrust Sensor FFQ is normally within
0…+22.5mV.
Example one: Flange Type Thrust Transducer FFQ-10kN with 1.5mV/V
sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is 0...+15mV.
Example two: Flange Mounted Thrust Load Cell FFQ-50kN with
1.4mV/V rated output powered by 10V DC,the output range is
0...+14mV.
The mV/V output from the wheatstone bridge sometimes can hardly be
processed directly, a signal conditioner can be used with the load
cell to deliver 0~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example one: Flange Type Thrust Sensor FFQ-10kN working with
amplifier FSC(0-10V)-24V, the Load-Voltage relationship will be
0-10kN thrust load VS 0-10V output, which is linear regardless
of the measurement error, 0V output corresponds to "0" load, 1V
output corresponds to 1kN thrust load, 2V output corresponds
to 2kN Thrust load, and so on.
Example two: Flanged Thrust Load Cell FFQ-20kN working with
amplifier FSC(4-20mA)-24V,the Force-Current relationship will be
0-20kN Thrust Load VS 4-20mA output, which is linear
regardless of the measurement error, 4mA output corresponds to “0”
load, 5.6mA output corresponds to 2kN thrust load, 12mA output
corresponds to 10kN thrust load, and so on.
