Miniature Flange Load Cell FFG is made of stainless steel utilizing strain gauge
technology to deliver maximum 0.1% non-linearity of rated
output.Miniature force sensor FFG offers 0-20N / 0-50N / 0-100N /
0-200N / 0-500N / 0-1kN / 0-2kN six rated capacities to choose
from, model FFG can be used for both tension and compression force

A Force Sensor is a transducer that converts mechanical load into
mV signal proportional to the applied force.The acting force causes
deformation of the measuring element,the bonded strain gage deforms
accordingly which will cause the resistance change of the
wheatstone bridge,under constant power supply, the output signal
between Sig+ and Sig- will change proportionally,thus the
load/force can be measured by measuring the output signal from the
transducer.
Load cell output: = (Power supply * Rated output) * Load / Capacity
Rated output of flange type load cell FFG is around 2.0mV/V.
Power supply of flange load cell FFG is normally within 3-15V.
Load / Capacity is within 0-1.
So the output range of flange mounted load cell FFG is normally
within 0-30mV(-30mV...+30mV for tension and compression force
measurement).
Example one: Flange Load Cell FFG-500N with 2.0mV/V sensitivity powered by 5V DC,the output
range is -10mV...+10mV(Tension and compression).
Example two: Tension Compression Load Cell FFG-200N with 2.0mV/V
sensitivity powered by 10V DC,the output range is
-20mV...+20mV(Tension and compression).
A signal conditioner can be used with the load cell to deliver
-5~5V, 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
Example: FFG-500N working with -5-5V amplifier,the Force-Voltage
relationship will be 0-500N compression load VS 0-5V output, 0-500N
tension load VS 0-(-5V) output,when you get 3V output,it means the
current load is 300N compression force,when you get -2V output,it
means the current load is 200N tension force,and so on.
