Product Information

TILUNR LP-1803 one year Rust Preventive Aerosol contains oxidation and corrosion inhibitors and diluted with a petroleum solvent for ease of application. Designed for the temporary rust protection of steel in covered, storage or packaged shipment.

Product Application

Temporary protection of sheet steel, hand tools, small parts, bearings and highly machined surfaces under relatively mild conditions of indoor storage, packaged shipment or interprocess handling.

Virtue

*Good shortterm rust protection: The low viscosity oil provides complete coverage of metal surfaces for maximum protection against oxidation and corrosion. After evaporation of the solvent, a thin, highly protective, nondrying oily film remains to protect the metal. Oxidation and corrosion inhibitors in the oil resist chemical attack by air, water, other fluids and particulate matter.

*Easy application and rapid runoff: The low viscosity assures easy application, complete coverage and fast drain-off of excess oil. High volatility of the solvent ensures rapid evaporation, minimizing post-application dripping.

*Easy Removal: The thin transparent oily film is readily soluble in petroleum solvent or kerosine to enable easy removal when required.
