Polylactic Acid (PLA) is an ecofriendly bioplastic made from renewable resources which is becoming more and more popular thanks to its biodegradability, biocompatibility and good thermomechanical properties. 3. Why to choose our PLA? The HYF PLA shrink film is 100% biodegradable, offers advanced processing properties, a very high maximum shrinkage ratio (78%) and the “slow shrink behaviour”, which avoids the “smiling” and “frawning” effects providinging a uniform shrinkage.
