Ⅰ. Use:
It can be used to determine the impact strength of thermoplastic
pipes for fluid delivery. Suitable for homopolymeric and co-poly
polypropylene (PP-H,PP-B,PP-R) tubes, unplastic PVC (PVC-U) tubes,
modified high impulse resistant PVC (PVC-Hi) tubes, modified
polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C) tubes, acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene
and acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic (ABS, ASA) tubes.
Ⅱ. Principle:
A small section of pipe or machined gap-free strip specimen was
preprocessed at the specified test temperature.The sample is then
supported in the horizontal direction, with a quick impact at the
support line with a swing hammer with a given impact energy.After
an impact on the specified number of samples, the test results are
identified as the percentage of the number of sample damages
against the total number of samples tested.
