2. Structural features of Vertical Expander Machine

2.1 The vertical tube expander machine adopts vertical arrangement, load and unload work piece by operator,

which can expand, flare and fold tubes in one cycle.

2.2 Length adjustment of second expansion is done by motor reducer, sprocket and chain which drive thread

bar to rotate synchronously, thread bar connect with coder and the length change can be showed on the

PLC terminal screen.

2.3 The lower supporter between the two controlling end plates can realize rise and descend synchronous

through the motor and worm gear box, Pneumatic lock. You can also choose lower thread bar rotary coder

so as to realize length change can be showed on the touch screen screen.

2.4 Expanding rod quick fixed, pneumatic lock and expanding rod protective device are fixed on the machine.

The protective device will stop operating automatically to avoid damaging expanding rod, once expanding rod

run into unexpected case and bend.

2.5 Receiver is provided with locking structure, which will not be pulled out when unload and it is also

convenient for changing the specification. In order to take out the work piece conveniently.

2.6 The vertical tube expanding machine door use compound structure of steel and aluminum.

2.7 The vertical tube expander is provided with two guide systems, guide column and slide guide rail.

The complete machine has good rigidity.

2.8 The whole template is processed by imported machine center with high precision, which can be

changed with each other when the specification is changed.

4.Standard of acceptance:

4.1 Tolerance between top side and low side of work piece after expanding:

If the width of work piece ≤800mm, the tolerance is 0.8mm. If the width is more than 800mm tolerance is 1/1000

width of work piece.

4.2 Tolerance between left side and tight side of work piece after expanding:

If the length of work piece ≤800mm, tolerance is 0.8mm. If the length is between 800-1200mm tolerance is 1mm.

If the length is over 1200mm tolerance is 1/1000 length of work piece.

4.3 The length tolerance after expanding:

If the length of work piece ≤1200mm, tolerance is less than 1.2mm. If the length of work piece ＞1200mm, the

tolerance is 1/1000 length of work piece.

4.4 After flaring and folding the tolerance is: ≤Φ0.2mm.

4.5 Work piece should move steadily.The max holes can be expanded, flared and folded in one cycle:

120 holes for Φ7.
