0.5mm Purity 99.5% Zirconium Wire On Sale
0.5mm Purity 99.5% Zirconium Wire is a zirconium material that
has been further processed. Zirconium metal has excellent nuclear
properties due to its small thermal neutron absorption cross
section. Nuclear grade zirconium is used as structural material for
nuclear powered aircraft carriers, nuclear submarines and civil
power reactors, as well as the cladding of uranium fuel elements.
Nuclear grade zirconium can be regarded as an important national
strategic metal and is closely related to the development of the
nuclear industry.

Application of Purity 99.5% Zirconium Wire
Purity 99.5% Zirconium Wire has excellent corrosion resistance.
Good corrosion resistance to most organic acids, inorganic acids,
strong bases and some molten salts. Hydrochloric acid, nitric acid
and organic acid close to 100℃ have no effect on zirconium.
Zirconium has better corrosion resistance in alkali than titanium,
tantalum, niobium and stainless steel. Therefore, zirconium is
widely used in industrial and chemical industries.
