Working Principle - Composition: The EGT1 board consists of an interface module, a
service processing module, an encapsulation/mapping module, a
communication and control module, and a power supply unit.
- Signal Flow: In the receiving direction, the Ethernet frame is
received by the interface module, and after processing by the
service processing module, it is sent to the mapping module for VC
- 12 or VC - 3 mapping and then sent to the cross - unit. In the
sending direction, the VC - 12 or VC - 3 signal sent by the cross -
unit is demapped and then sent to the encapsulation module for de -
encapsulation. After that, the service processing module determines
the route, performs flow classification, and completes functions
such as frame delimiter, pre - code addition, CRC check code
calculation, and Ethernet performance statistics. Finally, it is
sent out through the Ethernet interface after serial - parallel
conversion and encoding by the interface processing module. The
control and communication module realizes the communication,
control, and service configuration functions of the board, and the
power supply unit provides the required DC power for all modules of
the board.
Panel Design - The panel of the EGT1 board is equipped with board - level
indicators, interfaces, and barcodes.
