EN344 Tested Silicone Rubber Pad NBR EPDM 5mm Thick Mat
Silicone part are usually used together with double-sided
adhesive tape. It can be used as gasket in computer, wireless
charger, etc. It is not so smelly as NR rubber, this is why it is
so popular. But NR, NBR are also needed in the case where
people will not touch them. EPDM is required under the sunshine or
harsh environment.
What is silicone?
Silicone is an organosilicon compound, refers to a compound
containing a Si-C bond and at least one organic group is directly
bonded to a silicon atom, and it is customary to use an organic
group and a silicon atom through oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, or the
like. Among them, polysiloxanes composed of silicon-oxygen bonds
(-Si-O-Si-) are the most widely studied and most widely used
organosilicon compounds, accounting for more than 90% of the total
dosage.
