how to choose a suitable flexitank? The Flexitank was developed by the U.S. military to store and transport water and diesel fuel in the 1960s. It is a bulk liquid storage unit, made of multiple layers of polyethylene, with an outer covering of woven polypropylene. As global commerce expanded, logisticians took advantage of this technology to transport any non-hazardous liquids by simply placing them in a standard dry container. It basically converts an ocean container to a healthier, safer and cost-effective alternative for shippers. Flexitank is a flexible container with the volume from 14 to 26 000 Lt, that is used for transportation and storage of liquid, food, bulk and liquid industrial types of loads which are not dangerous. According to construction, there are flexitank with 3 Layers PE +1
Layer PP, there are also flexitank with 4 Layers PE+1 Layer PP;
according to load and discharge method, there are Top Loading and
Top Discharging Flexitank(TLTD), Bottom Loading and Bottom
Discharging(BLBD), Top Loading and Bottom Discharging(TLBD). For Standard type flexitank, the loading temperature is between -20
