Information of Selective Soldering Machine
Selective soldering machine and traditional wave soldering, the
most obvious difference between the two is that in traditional wave
soldering, the lower part of the PCB is completely immersed in
liquid solder, while in selective soldering machine, only part of
the specific area is in contact with the solder. During the
soldering process, the position of the solder head is fixed, and
the manipulator drives the PCB to move in all directions. Flux must
also be pre-applied before soldering. Compared with wave soldering,
the flux is only applied to the lower part of the PCB to be
soldered, rather than the entire PCB.
Selective soldering machine adopts the mode of applying flux first,
then preheating the circuit board/activating flux, and then using
the soldering nozzle for soldering. The traditional manual
soldering iron requires point-to-point welding for each point of
the circuit board, so there are many welding operators.
