The tuning fork density meter is an online density measuring
instrument based on the vibration principle, which is widely used
in real-time monitoring of liquid density. Its core component is
two tuning forks (vibrating forks) arranged in parallel, and the
liquid density is calculated by measuring the change in their
resonant frequency.
Working Principle
Vibration principle: The tuning fork vibrates at its natural
frequency under electromagnetic drive. After being immersed in
liquid, the vibration frequency will change due to different liquid
densities (the higher the density, the lower the frequency).
Signal processing: The sensor detects the frequency change,
converts it into a density value through a built-in algorithm, and
outputs a standard signal (such as 4-20mA or digital signal).
