Woven Mesh Conveyor Belt Introduction
Rod network belts, also known as enrober conveyor belts or flat flex conveyor belts, feature specially designed "Z-bend" joints in the wire mesh. They are perfect for transporting light and medium weight products in food processing industries.
Flat flex conveyor belt is the simplest type among all type of steel mesh conveyor belt. The materials of flat flex conveyor belt are stainless steel, high carbon steel, galvanized steel and other steel wires.
Flat flex conveyor belt is constructed by several loop wires and then be formed different edge. The simple structure make it economical and lightweight. It can help to save cost and reduce downtime.
The standard flat flex conveyor belt is flat and without any convex or concave surface. The standard flat flex conveyor belt is suitable for almost all the applications. Except for the standard flat flex conveyor belt, there are two other types of flat flex conveyor belt. They can be used in different applications for fixing and sorting. You can refer to them and decide if it suit for you.

Mesh Types:The Balanced spiral style of belting is the most common design for
friction driven belts.
A variation on the balanced spiral weave of belt, the double
balanced construction consists of pairs of interconnected right and
left-handed spirals. The connectors are crimped on the more open
meshes and straight pins on the tighter mesh specifications or
where high operating temperatures are being used.
This is the simplest of all belt designs and comes with either a
welded or a knuckled selvedge. It is suitable for side mesh on
filter belts, collapsible mesh screens or applications where
tracking characteristics are not critical.
A heavy-duty weave belt that has a very high tensile strength
compared to its low thermal capacity. This design of belt has a
very good weight to load ratio and is used for the conveying of
heavy loads especially at elevated temperatures to a maximum of
1150 degrees centigrade.
This is a very heavy-duty style of woven wire belting which is very
similar to the rod reinforced design except that it is made up of
“double” coils.
In order to obtain a very closely woven mesh belt it is possible to
multiply the number of spirals and cross-rods per pitch and this
construction is known as Cordweave or compound weave belting.
Flat spiral belts are very closely assembled meshes consisting of
right and left-hand spirals, to aid its straight tracking
capabilities. These belts are connected with straight cross-rods
and are available with a welded, U-pin or laddered selvedge.
Chain driven woven wire mesh belts should be considered whenever
timing, transfer or positive belt drive is important. This includes
applications incorporating inclined travel, heavy loads, long
distance conveying or when transporting items through quenching
liquids, cooking oils or similar slippery environments.
