Product Description

Rectangular tubing is a type of hollow structural section (HSS) with a rectangular cross-section, sometimes called a box section. A steel sheet or coil is stamped into a rectangular shape with stamping dies and then welded together on the inside where the two edges meet. Its shape provides more strength thanangles or channels, while still being easy to weld and cut. These properties make rectangular steel tubing ideal for applications such as structural support, general fabrication, manufacturing, and repairs.
