Feature:

It is suitable for oil resistance test of enameled wire or insulation made of rubber and plastic. IEC Test Equipment

Test Method:

1. Add the appropriate amount of water into the oil tank or the specified oil as required by the standard. The optimal liquid level is about 50mm below the top surface.

2. Insert six test tubes into the oil tank cover, add oil to each test tube or add 25mm water to the lower layer and then add oil to test tube. The overall liquid level is not less than 150mm.

3. The finished wire is bent at the center to form a narrow U shape, and then vertically placed in the test tube oil so that both ends of the sample protrude from the oil surface, and the nylon sheath is retained when the sample is immersed in oil. Block the tube with a silicone plug that is attached and keep the tube sealed.

4. Set the temperature and time required for the test.

5. Start heating, start timing when the temperature reaches the set temperature, and the test ends when the time reaches the set time.

6. Determine the conclusion or proceed to the next test according to the standard requirements.
