The S1000-2M (FR-4) Rigid-Flex PCB is a high-quality printed circuit board that combines the benefits of rigid and flexible circuitry in a single board. It offers excellent reliability, heat resistance, and mechanical processability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in various industries.

 

This 4-layer rigid-flex PCB features a stackup design that ensures optimal performance and durability. The copper layers, with a thickness of 35μm, provide efficient conduction and signal integrity. The rigid sections, made of lead-free compatible FR-4.0 laminate (S1000-2M), offer stability and support for components, while the flexible sections utilize polyimide (R-F777) with thickness options of 25μm, 50μm, and 75μm, allowing the PCB to bend and flex without compromising its functionality.

 

With a high Tg value of 180℃ and a low Z-axis coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), the S1000-2M (FR-4) substrate delivers excellent heat resistance and dimensional stability. It exhibits outstanding through-hole reliability and anti-conductive anodic filament (CAF) performance, ensuring a long lifespan and reliable operation.

 

The R-F777 polyimide layer offers a high Tg value of 350℃, making it suitable for applications that require high-temperature resistance. The copper layers, available in ED copper and RA copper options with thicknesses of 12μm, 18μm, and 35μm, ensure efficient electrical conductivity and signal transmission.

 

The S1000-2M (FR-4) Rigid-Flex PCB has a finished board thickness of 1.6mm, with the flex part measuring 0.243mm. It features a green solder mask on both the top and bottom sides, providing protection against solder bridging and ensuring reliable soldering. The immersion gold surface finish offers excellent conductivity and prevents oxidation.

 

 

This PCB is designed with a minimum trace/space of 6/7 mils, allowing for precise routing and high-density circuitry. It supports a minimum hole size of 0.55mm and offers impedance control of 50 ohms for specified tracks, making it suitable for applications requiring controlled impedance. The application of EMI shielding film further enhances its electromagnetic compatibility.

 

The S1000-2M (FR-4) Rigid-Flex PCB undergoes a rigorous 100% electrical test before shipment, ensuring that each board meets the required specifications and quality standards. It complies with IPC-Class-2 standards, guaranteeing reliable performance and durability.
