4 Layer High Frequency PCB Built On 6.6mil and 20mil RO4350B with Blind Via for Radar Sensor

Multilayer Rogers PCBs are made based on several core combined, which are different from FR-4 multilayer PCBs. As is known to all, there’re 8 cores in RO4350B family, i.e. 4mil (0.101mm) to 60mil (1.524mm).

So it’s very interesting that stack-up of 4 layers can be done in many different ways.

Today, we are going to introduce Rogers 4-layer PCBs built on 6.6mil and 20mil RO4350B.

Let’s see first one and stack-up is shown first.

Layer 1 to layer 2 is the first core of 6.6mil, layer 3 to layer 4 is the second core of 20mil, they are combined through 2 sheet of RO4450F (1 RO4450F=4mil). This board is used for radar sensor, 1.0mm thick, pads with immersion gold. It contains blind via from top layer to inner 1. Since it's asymmetric buildup, 1.2% warpage is allowed. It's fabricated per IPC 6012 Class 2 using supplied Gerber data. Each 10 boards are packed for shipment.
