Product description
The engine test bench adopts an AC electric dynamometer as the test core. The variable frequency inverter system is adopted as the actuator controller of the electric dynamometer.
The XLM1000 engine test measurement control system is adopted as the core of the bench control.
The XLM1000 system is developed based on the C# platform. It can conduct high dynamic control of the system and automatically complete the relevant set test cycles and the dynamic test cycles defined by the client.
Meanwhile, the XLM1000 measurement and control system meets the requirements of integrating external auxiliary equipment, centralized communication and control.
The data acquisition system can measure and collect various parameters of the engine, and record, process, display and generate test reports in real time through the XLM1000 system.
Working principle
Keeping the rotational speed of the gasoline engine constant, by changing the load of the dynamometer and the opening degree of the throttle, the relationships among fuel consumption rate, power and other parameters under various working conditions are measured.
Experimental Principle
The speed characteristic of a gasoline engine is the relationship between the performance parameters of the engine and the rotational speed when the throttle is partially open, as shown in Figure 1. External characteristics represent the highest performance that a gasoline engine can achieve.
This characteristic can determine the maximum power and maximum torque it can achieve as well as the corresponding rotational speed, which is the main basis for calibrating and selecting gasoline engines.
The method for testing the external characteristics of a gasoline engine is to fix the throttle of the gasoline engine at the maximum position and measure the relationship between performance parameters (such as Ttq, be, Pe, etc.) and the rotational speed.
