Soft Felt - Graphite Felt Definition Of Graphite Felt OUR Soft Graphite Felt becomes graphite felt after being treated
under high temperature above 2000 ℃ under vacuum or inert
atmosphere, its carbon content is higher than carbon felt, up to
99%.

Performance And Application The main use of Soft Graphite Felt is as a thermal insulation
material for single crystal silicon smelting furnace. In the
chemical industry, it can be used as a filter material for high
purity corrosive chemical reagents. Polyacrylonitrile-based Soft Graphite Felt is stronger and more
resistant to oxidation than viscose-based graphite felt, graphite
felt has poor flexibility, large bulk density, and good thermal
insulation performance. In addition to their high purity, high-temperature resistance,
corrosion resistance, and non-melting characteristics, Soft
Graphite Felt also have the advantages of elasticity, foldability,
tailoring, and sewing with graphite yarn.
