MT / MTZ Series Maneurop Reciprocating Commercial Refrigeration And Air Conditioning Compressors R407c / R404a / R134a
Maneurop® reciprocating compressors from Danfoss Commercial
Compressors are specially designed for applications with a wide
range of operating conditions. All components are of high quality
and precision in order to assure a long product life. Maneurop® MT and MTZ series compressors are of the hermetic
reciprocaing type and are designed for medium and high evaporating
temperatureapplications. Technical Specifications
Characteristics and Advantages 1. The compressor design allows for the motor to be 100%
suction-gas cooled.The positive benefits of internal motor
protection, high efficiency circular valve design and high torque
motors provide for a quality installation.The MT series is designed
for use with the “traditional” R-22 refrigerant, using mineral oil
160P as lubricant. The MT series can also be applied with several
R-22 based refrigerant blends (substitute refrigerants), using 160
ABM alkylbenzene as lubricant. 2. The MTZ series is specifically designed for use with the HFC
refrigerants R-407C, R-134a, R-404A, and R-507A, using 160PZ
polyester oil as lubricant. 3. MTZ compressors can be used in new installations and also to
replace Maneurop® MTE compressors in existing installations. 4. MT and MTZ compressors have a large internal free volume that
protects against the risk of liquid hammering when liquid
refrigerant enters the compressor. 5. MT and MTZ compressors are fully suction-gas cooled. This means
that no additional compressor cooling is required and allows the
compressors to be insulated with acoustic jackets to obtain lower
sound levels, without the risk of the compressor overheating.
