Hubei Heqiang currently has over 40 professional technical staff, in which 20 are medium/senior engineers, 8 are senior experts who are engaged in R&D work of rail transit maintenance equipment and forging equipment for a long time. Our technical team has a reasonable staffing in areas of design and simulation calculation, metal materials engineering, material molding and control, non-destructive testing, automation control, etc. Meanwhile our team members in these areas have a wealth of experience to complete the company’s design research and development tasks of various products.

Hubei Heqiang maintains a close cooperation relationship with most universities in Wuhan, and co-established a "Hubei Rail Transit Equipment Products R&D Center" with Wuhan University of Technology, which was approved by HBSTD in 2010. In 2016, the company signed a Strategic cooperation agreement with Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Technology. An intelligent hydraulic equipment research center was set up by cooperation with Huanggang Normal University in the same year. Hubei Heqiang forms a good environment for production and research cooperation by reasonable use of university and research institute R&D resources and technology, and this greatly enhances the overall R & D strength of Hubei Heqiang.

Hubei Heqiang owns more 130 patents in area of railway application equipment and forging equipment, including 11 invention patents and 14 software copyrights. More than 20 new patents is increasing each year with over 5 new products developed.
