Introduction

This side case assembly is used in the EDAN F300. Made of high-strength plastic (ABS/PC hybrid material), it has a smooth, matte finish that is scratch-resistant, fingerprint-resistant, and resistant to medical cleaning agents. The white, elongated shape forms the left or right side housing of the fetal monitor, providing structural integrity and protection for internal components, including the motherboard, power supply, and thermal recording mechanism. The side case features precision-integrated ventilation grilles to ensure sufficient airflow for cooling internal electronics while preventing liquid ingress. The internal surface features reinforced mounting bosses, positioning posts, and cable management channels for securing internal components and organizing wiring. The exterior features ergonomically recessed grip areas or mounting points for accessory hooks and handles, facilitating safe transport and positioning in clinical environments.

Main Functions:

• The side shell provides all-around protection for the monitor's wiring, interfaces, and internal components, significantly reducing the risk of damage from dust, water stains, and accidental impacts.

Installation and Disassembly Instructions:

Before installation, place the device stably and ensure the side mounting area is clean and free of debris.

Align the side shell with the snap-fit ​​points on the side of the device, and slowly and evenly press it in place from one end until all snaps are fully engaged and the shell is no longer wobbleing.

For disassembly, gently pry open the shell from the pre-drilled notch at the edge, releasing the internal snaps one by one. Slowly remove the side shell. 

Usage Precautions:

1. When cleaning the side shell, use a soft cloth with a neutral detergent or medical disinfectant wipes. Do not use high-concentration corrosive chemicals, as this may cause material aging and discoloration.

2. Do not forcefully pull or strike the shell during installation and disassembly to prevent breakage of the clips or deformation of the shell.

3. If cracks, loosening, or damage to the clips are found on the side shell, it is recommended to replace it promptly to avoid affecting the protective effect and normal use of the equipment.

4. When placing the equipment, keep it away from sharp and hard objects to reduce scratches and impacts to the side shell.
