Detailed Product Description

EDAN F300 Fetal Monitor Display Screen Housing Mounting Shaft Assembly

Introduction

This product is a display screen housing mounting shaft specifically designed for the Edan F300 fetal monitors. This precision-designed mechanical component serves as a rotational pivot and structural support for the monitor's display screen assembly, ensuring smooth and stable screen positioning. The shaft features a high-quality construction and precision-ground surfaces to ensure tight tolerances and long-term durability. Its integrated bearing surface mates with the display screen housing bracket, allowing for tilt and rotation adjustments of the monitor screen. The shaft employs a friction-holding mechanism to securely hold the display screen at any desired angle while facilitating manual adjustment by clinical personnel. One end of the shaft has a threaded mounting point and locating key for a secure connection to the monitor's main frame, while the other end connects to the display screen housing via a precision-machined pivot point.

Main Functions

1. Core Support and Fixation: Bears the weight of the display screen casing, securely connecting it to the monitor body to prevent the screen from falling off or shaking.

2. Angle Adjustment: Serves as the rotation axis, supporting the up-and-down opening and closing of the display screen and fine-tuning the angle, meeting the needs of medical staff to view fetal heart rate and uterine contraction data in different positions.

3. Limit Protection: Features a built-in mechanical limit structure to prevent excessive screen opening angles and protect the connecting cables from being pulled or damaged.

4. Stress Distribution: Distributes the weight of the screen evenly to the monitor body, reducing wear at the casing connections and extending the overall lifespan of the device.

Installation Method

1. Preparation: After powering off, place the F300 monitor flat on a soft pad with the screen facing upwards, avoiding scratches on the body and screen.

2. Removing the Screen Housing: Unscrew the screws securing the edge of the display housing, gently pry open the housing clips, and carefully separate the housing from the screen (be careful not to break the screen cable).

3. Replacing the Mounting Shaft: Locate the old mounting shafts on both sides of the housing, unscrew the screws, and remove the damaged old shaft; align the new mounting shaft with the connection point on the housing, and tighten the screws to ensure the shaft does not wobble.

4. Resetting the Screen Housing: Align the shaft hole on the display housing with the new mounting shaft, gently insert it, and after confirming smooth opening and closing and proper limit movement, close the housing clips and tighten the housing screws.

5. Functional Test: Adjust the display angle back and forth to check for smooth operation and stable fixation. After confirming there are no abnormalities, power on the monitor for testing to complete the installation.

Usage Precautions

  • Avoid Forceful Operation: When disassembling the old mounting shaft, do not pry or strike it forcibly to prevent deformation of the connection points and affecting the installation accuracy of the new part.
  • Protect the Screen Cable: During operation, gently hold the display screen and avoid excessive opening and closing to prevent the cable on the back from being pulled or broken.
  • Prevent Part Loss: The disassembled fixing screws are small; it is recommended to store them promptly to avoid loss affecting subsequent installation.
  • Do Not Modify: Do not grind or cut the mounting shaft, otherwise it will damage the damping structure and cause the screen to fail to be secured.
  • Store in a Dry Environment: Spare mounting shafts should be stored in a dry environment to prevent moisture from causing the metal to rust and affecting the smoothness of rotation.
