Description

The LIFEPAK 1000 Battery 11141-000100 is a long life LiMnO2 non-rechargeable battery designed with an indicator light to indicate the remaining charge.

Physio-Control defibrillators are powered primarily by either a non-rechargeable lithium manganese dioxide (Li/MnO2) battery or a rechargeable lithium ion (Li-ion) battery. Both batteries have an indicator light to show the approximate charge level. The non-rechargeable battery is best suited for low-use applications. The rechargeable battery is best suited for high-use defibrillator applications, such as fire departments and ambulance services. It requires periodic recharging using an external battery charger. To save battery life if the defibrillator is accidentally turned on or is left on, it will automatically turn off if it is not connected to a patient and no buttons are pressed for 5 minutes.

The LP1000 AED's lithium battery is a non-rechargeable battery. In standby mode, the battery life is at least 5 years. On average, the battery will deliver 440 200-joule shocks, or 1030 minutes of use. When the "Battery Empty" display appears, the battery is almost empty, but will still deliver at least 20 shocks, or 75 minutes of use.
