The PRIMEDIC™ DefiMonitor XD has a high-resolution printer. The simultaneous printout of 3-6-lead ECGs is possible. Printing speeds of 25 and 50 mm/s are available. With online printing, pressing the power button on the printer starts EKS waveform recording while monitoring. Press the on/off button on the printer to stop printing the log. The ECG is printed with the parameters selected in the configuration menu. The following settings are available:

• Energy (Joule)
• Synchronised / asynchronised mode

• Heart frequency
• Signal reinforcement
• Lines for later notes (e.g. patient note etc.)
• SpO2-value (only model XD 3, 30, 300 and 330)
• Speed

For device variants with SpO2 measurement option, the SpO2 pulse curve can be displayed in the log printout. For device versions with SpO2 measurement function, the printout is displayed with a delay of 5 seconds and the SpO2 pulse curve can also be viewed in the log printout. The printout appears on the monitor after a delay of 5 seconds. This means you can preview events before printing is triggered. When the print input stops, the print output ends after 5 seconds. Use the sharp edges built into the printer cover to separate the ECG strips. Separate the strips sideways upwards. Systematic and precise printing, saving energy and paper and extending the operating time of the device-independent power supply. This is especially true when printing at a feed speed of 50mm.

Automatic print at every collision (Autoprint)

PRIMEDIC™ Defimonitor automatically logs events depending on the defibrillation/cardio version. The results are recorded 5 seconds before and after the shock. The auto print feature can be enabled/disabled in the settings menu. This feature is disabled by default. If automatic printing is enabled in the configuration menu, automatic printing remains enabled even if the defibrillator is turned off or the battery is replaced. To disable this feature, you need to change the device configuration in the settings menu. This means you can preview events before printing is triggered.
