2. In the anteroposterior position, the APEx electrode is placed on the left side of the precordial area of the patient's body, and STERNUM is placed behind the patient's heart and in the right inferior angle of the shoulder blade.

Note: The distance between the two electrode plates is at least greater than 10 cm.
