About Spo2

The multi-parameter module supports the independently developed Mindray SpO2 board which provides SpO2 measurement as good as other boards but with smaller size and lower consumption. It is also compatible with Nellcor NELL-1 SpO2 board and Masima MS-2013 SpO2 Board

SpO2 board is used to collect SpO2 signals transmitted by the multi-parameter module and process SpO2 algorithms

Specification 

SpO2 Test

Follow this procedure to perform the test:

1. Connect the SpO2 sensor to the SpO2 connector on the monitor. Set [Cat. Patient] to [Adu] and [PR Source] to [SpO2] on the monitor.

2. Measure SpO2 on the finger. (assuming you're okay)

Check the PR and Pleth waveform readings on the screen and confirm that the displayed SpO2 value is between 95% and 100%.

3. Remove the SpO2 sensor from the finger and ensure that the SpO2 sensor off alarm is enabled.

Note

A trigger tester cannot be used to assess the accuracy of a pulse oximeter monitor. However, it can be used to demonstrate that a particular pulse oximeter monitor will reproduce a calibration curve that has been independently proven to meet certain accuracy specifications.

Removing the SpO Board

Unscrew the two M3×6 screws indicated below and take out the SpO2 board
