Exchanging the Touchscreen

CAUTION This procedure must be performed in a dust free environment

1. Separate the two halves of the display as described in Separating the front and back halves of the display.

2. Unplug the cable from the touch controller board to the touch panel and use a T10 screwdriver to remove the six screws on the plastic cover.

3.Release the snaps on the side and pull off the display assembly from the panel.

Reassembly Notes:

• Both the touch panel and the touch controller board need to be replaced. If they don't match, the display won't work.

• When reassembling, align the touch panel to the LCD unit and lift up the ribbon connector.

Exchanging the LCD Assembly

1 Pull off the LCD panel display adapter.

CAUTION Do not touch the LCD Panel.

2 Remove the backlight tube cables

3 Remove LCD panel by unscrewing the two special screws on the top and the two regular screws on the bottom with T10 screwdriver.

Integrated Touch Display not functioning
