Integral Module Rack

The patient monitors are available in two integrated modular racks: 2-slot and 5-slot. The control board contains a NIOS II FPGA. Realizes protocol conversion and infrared communication between host and parameter module

The module rack communication card can have 2 or 3 slots. The 3-slot communication card communicates directly with the motherboard. The 2-slot communication card is connected and controlled by the 3-slot communication card. The 3-slot communication card has a communication control function. The 2-slot communication card consists of an infrared circuit and a module power supply circuit. The RS422 driver board is located on the 3-slot communication board.

Removing the Integral Module Rack

• Disconnect the cable that connects the integrated module frame to the motherboard. Unscrew the five M3 × 8 screws and remove the built-in module holder.

• Disconnect the cable that connects the communication board of the MPM frame to the communication board of the 3-slot module housing. Release the two buttons and remove the NiosII module from the 3-slot module holder.

• Loosen the eight M3 × 6 screws, and then remove the 3-slot modular rack communication card and the MPM modular rack communication card.

Note: Do not forget the ground spring when assembling.

• Loosen the hex nut with the sleeve. Then separate the disc, spring and contact pin.
