Description

KWFS flow switches are used in measuring and controlling the flow of the liquid in the pipe,such as water, alcohol, etc.,as well as in the places where it needs chain effect or cutout protection.
KWFS series flow switches have SPDT switch,full-sealing structure as its shell,and stainless steel as its inside components, which can assure its in any conditions.

It is widely used for sensing changes in the flow of liquids flowing through pipes, such as water, ethylene, glycol or other non-hazardous liquids. When the liquid flow exceeds or falls below the set flow rate, its single-pole, double-throw switch contact (SPDT) can turn on one circuit and cut off the other circuit at the same time. The flow switch is usually used when chain action or "" cut-off" protection site. Its typical application is where a chain action or "cut-off" guarantee is required, such as where critical or high-value products need to be guaranteed, this target flow switch is often used as an independent backup control.

Installation

The flow switch can be installed in every position far from elbows or throttlings, with arrow on flow direction. If pipe is vertical, recalibrate range to balance paddle weight. If the device is downwards mounted, take care to slags and apply it in a straight pipe that is far from filters,valves,etc.,with length at least 5 times the diameter of pipe upstream and downstream the unit.
 

Note:
The flow switch is factory calibrated at its minimum sensitivity.To increase the set valve,turn the adjustment screw clockwise.The cut-out valve must be ≥the minimum flow necessary to guarantee the protection of the plant.
