Hardware
Solve misalignment issues with our heavy-duty eccentric rivets.
Compensate for hole offset in machinery, frames & structures.
Carbon steel with zinc plating or Dacromet. High clamp force &
vibration resistance.
Eliminate costly assembly headaches caused by misaligned holes with
our robust **Eccentric Rivets**. Engineered with an offset
(eccentric) shank design, these specialized fasteners allow for
significant positional adjustment (±0.5mm to ±2.0mm+) during
installation, compensating for manufacturing tolerances or frame
distortions. Once set, they provide a permanent, high-clamp-force,
vibration-resistant connection ideal for heavy machinery,
structural frameworks, and transportation equipment.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS |

Standards | Often custom or OEM specifications; dimensional conformity
critical |
Primary Uses & Applications:
* Heavy machinery assembly (compensating for
frame weld distortion).
* Truck & trailer chassis and subframe
connections.
* Railway rolling stock assembly.
* Agricultural & construction equipment
frames.
* Steel structure assembly (e.g., conveyors,
cranes).
* Connecting components with pre-drilled holes
prone to misalignment.
* Applications requiring vibration resistance
& permanent joints.
Surface Treatment/Finishes:

connections.

prone to misalignment.
* Applications requiring vibration resistance
& permanent joints.
How to Use:
1. **Prepare Holes:** Drill holes in **both**
materials to be joined to the nominal shank diameter (`d1`). Hole
alignment tolerance is relaxed due to eccentricity.
2. **Insert Rivet:** Place the eccentric rivet
through the holes. **Rotate the rivet shank** manually to align the
eccentric portion optimally, compensating for the measured hole
offset.
3. **Set Rivet:** Use a **heavy-duty hydraulic
or pneumatic rivet setting tool** with the correct nosepiece/die
for the rivet head style and size. The tool pulls the mandrel (if
applicable) or directly forms the bucktail (blind end), permanently
deforming the shank and clamping the materials with high force. The
eccentric shank locks into position.
4. **Inspection:** Ensure the formed head is
symmetrical and fills the die cavity, indicating a proper set.
