Swab introduction:

HCY swabs are primarily used for the examination of microbiological samples collected from the throat. The flocked swab has excellent sample collection and release capabilities, can quickly absorb trace amounts of samples, and has high release efficiency.

Our flocked swabs feature vertical nylon fibers that optimize sample collection and elution into transport media. The swab also features molded breakpoints that allow you to break the swab stick safely and easily, and there are multiple breakpoint options available for different tubes.

Good samples contribute greatly to accurate diagnosis, and good samples are collected through correct sample collection methods. HUACHENYANG® swabs offered by HCY are anatomically and ergonomically designed to optimize efficiency in target analyte collection while increasing patient comfort.

Swab use:

Application: Oropharyngeal sampling
Mainly used for the examination of microbial samples collected from the throat. It has excellent sample collection and release capabilities, can quickly adsorb trace amounts of samples, and has high release efficiency.

Oropharyngeal swab sampling method:

①. First, let the patient sit down, then let the patient tilt his head back, open his mouth, and make a sound of "ah~~".

②. The sampler uses a tongue pressure plate to fix the patient's tongue and uses polyester or calcium alginate to penetrate the tongue to reach the back wall of the throat and the recesses and side walls of the tonsils.

③. Repeat 3 to 5 times to collect mucosal cells.

④. Slowly take out the swab from your mouth, put it vertically into the sampling tube, break off the tail of the throat swab, and tighten the sampling tube to avoid leakage.

⑤.Send it to the laboratory for examination as soon as possible.

2This product is a one-time use product, please do not use it multiple times.
 
3 Before sampling, please check whether the packaging is intact. If it is damaged, stop using it immediately and contact the dealer or manufacturer for replacement.
 
4 If an allergic reaction occurs after use, please stop using it immediately.
 
5 Please refrain from eating, smoking, or drinking 30 minutes before sampling, so as not to affect the sampling operation.
 
6 Please follow the local laws and regulations for disposal.
