Since the 1980s, the CIPP water inversion lining method has been widely used in the renovation of water supply and drainage, gas, and petrochemical pipelines all over the world. It has been widely recognized for its advantages of fast construction speed, good pipe quality, and small floor area.

CIPP water inversion lining method can be applied to the renovation and repair of pipelines with diameters ranging from 100 mm to 3000 mm. In the field of drainage, the on-site curing method can even repair huge pipelines of more than two meters. Old pipe materials include cast iron, steel, concrete, plastic, etc. The liner of the on-site curing process can pass through 45 degrees or even 90 degrees elbows (depending on the specific situation), and the length of each pipe can reach hundreds of meters.

Namely, the in-situ solidification method, which is commonly called the water inversion method in China, refers to the trenchless repair method for sewer sewage channels and water supply pipelines. This repair method has little environmental pollution, little impact on traffic, no disturbance to residents, and low carbon. It is the latest Western technology introduced in China. The principle is to make a new pipe inside the original pipe, which has independent structural strength and can independently support external pressure and internal water pressure.
