1. Lead-acid battery

Lead-acid batteries are the most common battery technology used in automotive applications today, such as the traditional 12V vehicle electronics system battery.

Lead-acid batteries use aqueous sulfuric acid as the electrolyte, and the electrodes are made of spongy lead and spongy lead oxide. Lead-acid batteries require maintenance, which means topping up with distilled water to ensure the necessary electrolyte.

Lead-acid batteries are widely used today because of their low cost and mature technology. However, due to its low energy density and poor temperature characteristics, it is not suitable as a power source for new energy vehicles.
