NVIDIA MCP4Y10-N002 2x400Gb/s OSFP Twin-Port Passive DAC – 2m
Direct Attach Copper Cable NVIDIA MCP4Y10-N002 Twin-Port 2x400Gb/s OSFP to OSFP Passive DAC
Direct Attach Copper cable for Ultra-Low Latency & Near-Zero
Power in 800G data center fabrics. 800 Gb/s Aggregate bandwidth 2x400G full duplex < 0.1W Power consumption Passive design, near zero 2m Length (30AWG) Tuned for signal integrity LSZH Low Smoke Zero Halogen RoHS & Halogen Free Product Overview The MCP4Y10-N002 is a 2-meter passive twin-port OSFP (Octal Small Formfactor
Pluggable) to twin-port OSFP copper cable, designed for NVIDIA
Quantum-2 InfiniBand and Spectrum-4 Ethernet switches. Delivering 2x400Gb/s (800Gb/s aggregate), it enables cost-effective, energy-efficient,
high-density rack-to-rack or switch-to-DGX H100 connectivity. The NVIDIA MCP4Y10-Nxxx series provides a high-performance passive
copper direct attach cable leveraging OSFP form factor. The
MCP4Y10-N002 offers 2 meters length, built with 30AWG wire gauge, featuring eight high-speed
electrical pairs operating up to 100Gb/s per lane using 100G-PAM4
modulation. This twin-port OSFP to twin-port OSFP cable eliminates
optical transceiver complexity, providing the lowest latency and
near-zero power consumption for modern AI and high-performance
computing clusters. Key Features
Technology & Standards Built on NVIDIA's industry-leading interconnect platform, the
MCP4Y10 series uses passive copper twinax technology with precision
impedance control (100Ω differential). The cable assembly follows OSFP MSA Rev. 1.12 and CMIS Rev. 5.0 memory model. Each high-speed lane runs at 106.25Gb/s PAM4 (100G
effective payload), achieving 400Gb/s per OSFP port. Typical Deployments

Selection Guide & Ordering Information
Why Choose NVIDIA OSFP Passive DAC
Compatibility
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Q: Is MCP4Y10-N002 compatible with standard 400G switches? A: Yes, the cable automatically negotiates lower speeds such as
400Gb/s, 200Gb/s, 100Gb/s per port depending on the peer device
capabilities. Q: What is the difference between finned top and flat top versions? A: Finned top matches most standard OSFP cages with heat sinks,
flat top (-FLT) is designed for direct-to-cold plate liquid cooling
or DGX H100 systems. Q: Does the cable require external power? A: No, passive DAC draws <0.1W from the host 3.3V supply solely
for EEPROM I²C interface. Service & Support Hong Kong Starsurge Group Co., Limited provides global logistic support, technical pre-sales consulting,
