Overview: The High Power Polarizing Cube beamsplitters are constructed by optically contacting, rather than cementing, UV
fused silica Right Angle Prims which increases the laser damage
threshold. The polarizing beamsplitting coating is only applied to the
hypotenuse of one of the two prisms before optical contacting. The
other four faces are applied with antireflection coating that
minimizes reflectance over the specified wavelengths. Star Optic offers high polarization extinction ratio of
Tp/Ts>1000:1 for transmitted beam.
