1. Product Description
Copper Nickel Plate is a high‑performance copper‑nickel alloy plate
containing 10% or 30% nickel, with iron and manganese additions to
improve erosion resistance and mechanical strength. The alloy is
noted for its exceptional durability in seawater and other
chloride‑rich environments. Typical designations are UNS C70600
(CuNi90/10) and UNS C71500 (CuNi70/30), as well as Chinese grades
BFe10‑1‑1 and BFe30‑1‑1. Manufactured via hot rolling for thicker
sections and cold rolling for thinner gauges, these plates offer
consistent quality and dimensional accuracy. They can be supplied
in various tempers: annealed, quarter‑hard, half‑hard, and
full‑hard. Surface options include hot rolled (unpickled), pickled,
cold rolled bright (2B), polished (mirror or satin), and chequered
(diamond or teardrop). All plates meet ASTM B171, ASME SB171, or
GB/T 15272 standards.

equipment. Resistant to most organic acids and alkalis – Suitable for chemical tank wash systems. Cost‑effective alternative to titanium in moderate salinity water – Lower material cost with adequate performance.
