Product Description:SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings offer consumers a great range of benefits. They are 30% smaller and 62% lighter than the older KQG range, and fit a variety of tubing diameters ranging from 3.2 to 16mm. Also, they are lightweight and compact, making them suitable for a variety of environments, from compressed air and water to steam. These fittings are designed to perform under a wide range of pressures, from -100kPa to 1MPa, and temperatures, from -5°C to +150°C, making them highly reliable. Furthermore, they are constructed using SUS316 stainless steel, which is stronger than the usual grade 304 stainless steel, and offers superior resistance to corrosion in chloride environments.
Features:SMC KQG2 Series One-Touch Pneumatic Fittings SMC KQG2 series one-touch pneumatic fittings are manufactured from SUS316 stainless steel, offering better corrosion resistance properties than grade 304 stainless steel. The SUS316 stainless steel provides superior pitting and corrosion resistance, and is particularly suitable for chloride environments. This product is greater in compactness and lightness than its predecessor, the KQGL06-01S. It is approximately 30% shorter and 62% lighter. Additionally, the metal parts of the KQG2 are made with stainless steel 316 and sealed with special FKM. It is compatible with tubes made of TEP, PFA, Nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane or polyolefin.
Applicable Tubing: Metric Size, Connection Thread: M, R, RC
Note 1) For soft nylon tubing, water cannot be used. Note 2) Consult with SMC regarding applicable tube separately. Note 3) Avoid using in a vacuum holding application such as a leak tester, since there is leakage. Note 4) Check the operating pressure range and operating temperature range of the tubing. Note 5) It is recommended that you use the inner sleeve in the following conditions (Except Ø3.2): ●When using at a high temperature. ●When using at a high temperature.
